At Brooks Institute, we encourage U.S. veterans to apply for enrollment into one of our academic programs of study. We believe in the value veterans have given to our country and look forward to helping them expand their expertise into the creative and visual arts fields.
Veteran applicants must meet the same admissions requirements as all new students but may be eligible for additional benefits such as the Yellow Ribbon Grant, a government program that can cover tuition and fees.
Post-9/11 G.I. Bill
Brooks Institute is approved to participate in the Chapter 33 Post-9/11 G.I. Bill. Students interested in veterans’ educational benefits should contact our Student Finance Department. Veterans who are unsure of their benefit eligibility or who have additional eligibility questions should contact the Veterans Administration at (888)442-4551 or http://gibill.va.gov. Eligible students must maintain satisfactory academic progress and all applicable eligibility requirements to continue receiving veterans’ educational benefits.
Military Training Credit
Brooks Institute accepts recommendations of the American Council on Education (ACE) for general education baccalaureate credit in evaluating/accepting credit for military training. Generally, military training is career specific and thus not applicable to our general education or business course requirements. Core coursework is evaluated through our Advanced Standing procedures.
