Tracy Trotter earned a BPA in 1974 from Brooks Institute, an MS in Photography 2004 and an MFA in 2008 from Brooks Institute.
Tracy is senior faculty at Brooks Institute, having worked there for many years as a full-time faculty member before becoming an adjunct. Tracy has 35-years’ experience as a director of photography and has won three Emmy Awards for his cinematography. Tracy has shot hundreds of national television commercials for clients including American Express, Apple® Inc., Ford, Chevy Trucks, Honda, Mercedes and Kodak, as well as several dozen promos for CBS, NBC and ABC. In addition, he has shot country music videos for George Strait, Clay Walker and many more.
In 2011 Tracy was invited to and currently serves as the live action supervisor for all production shooting at lynda.com, the premier provider of online training.
