“From the City of Angels to the Land of Miracles: Documentary Photography at Home and Abroad”
Wendy Sue Lamm’s recently published book, ‘From the Land of Miracles’, about the daily lives of Israelis and Palestinians, was named one of the Best Books of the Year by American Photo Magazine. Lamm has been a staff photographer for the Los Angeles times and for Agence French-Presse, and has been published in Time, Geo, Newsweek, and the New York Times. In addition, her work has been exhibited at the Louvre in Paris, as well as in Milan, Stockholm and in Japan.

“Compelling Stories—for Large and Small Screens”
Chuck Braverman is that rare film director with successes in both documentary and fiction storytelling. His documentary, ‘Curtain Call’, was nominated for an Academy Award, and another documentary, ‘High School Boot Camp’, won an award from the Directors Guild of America. Braverman has completed projects with actors including Kiefer Sutherland, Keanu Reeves and Kirstie Alley, and has directed episodes of ‘Northern Exposure’, ‘Beverly Hills 90210’, ‘Melrose Place’, and ‘St. Elsewhere’. His films have also appeared on a number of cable channels.

“International Photojournalism: Getting the Story, Getting it GOOD!”
A significant amount of David Butow’s work focuses on overseas storytelling. He has worked in the
Middle East and Africa and covered the war in Iraq for US News and World Report. In addition, Butow regularly exhibits his work and has shown at Visa Pour L’Image in Perpignan, France. He is currently working on a long-term project in China.
