Nicholas Dekker has been a faculty member of Brooks Institute for the past 25 years, he is a noted international Fine Art Photographer, and Salon exhibitor, has traveled to Korea, and Japan as an educator and lecturer on Photographic techniques, has published his photography in educational text books, journals and magazines throughout the United States and international photo magazines, recently profiled in Swiss publication called. PHOTOGRAFIE, a photography magazine distributed throughout all of Europe. Nick has work currently on display at PARIS PHOTO 2003, the largest photo expo in the world.
He has aprox. 30 years experience in Commercial/Illustration advertising photography with noted clients such as Ford, GM motor co, Motown records, United Airlines. He also has several years of architectural photography experience.
Nicks concentration at present is in pre modern alternative photographic processes, specializing in Platinum / Palladium printing. He teaches work study at Brooks Institute in this area, as well as Lower Division Studies.
