Instructor in the Graphic Design Program at BROOKS INSTITUTE
After graduating from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a combined degree in history, anthropology and economics Scott pursued his love of art, at Art Center College of Design.
He graduated from Art Center with honors and went to work in Los Angeles for Robert Miles Runyan and Associates, a premier design office which specialized in corporate communications and was actually the creator of the modern corporate annual report.
In the 1970's Scott moved to Santa Barbara and founded Scott F. Reid and Associates Design Office . He has spent the last 30 years designing visual communications materials for a diverse client base, ranging from large corporations, to publications, to museums, to start up businesses.
Scott's design office has received over 30 national awards from various organizations, including the following: The Art Directors Club of New York; The Art Directors Club of Los Angeles; The Society of Publication Designers; The Society of Art Center Alumni; Communication Arts Magazine; Creativity (Print Magazine's Award Competition); Best In Show Santa Barbara County Advertising Competition; Inclusion in Print Magazine's special Issue on 40 years of innovative typography.
