Matt Moody: Mr. Moody has been a member of the Editorial Art Department at the Los Angeles Times for almost two decades, creating graphics to accompany the news stories of the day. War and disaster, Olympics, architecture, science and technology, milestones and memories, the assignments are ever-changing.
He has also worked as a reporter and editor at several newspapers, and currently serves as an advisor for the Venice High School Oarsman, looking out for the paper’s visual presentation.
Mr. Moody joined the Brooks staff in 2005 as an adjunct instructor in the Graphic Design Department, and has also taught courses at Otis Art Institute and Santa Monica College. He also spent six-years in Hawaii teaching high school.
His work includes a variety of free-lance design and illustration projects for clients which include BMW, Golf World Magazine, Evolution Entertainment, Heal the Bay and the Pete Newell Challenge.
Mr. Moody holds a Bachelor’s degree from UCSB and a Masters degree in Publication Design from San Jose State.
