Located in Santa Barbara, California, where the Institute's Professional Photography Undergraduate and Graduate Programs are offered, the Jefferson Campus is one of several facilities in the area. In addition to the Library, Digital Lab and Cove, this campus also houses many of the Institute's administrative offices such as Academic Affairs, Career Services, and Financial Aid.
While the hallways at the Institute's official Montecito Gallery are reserved for complete exhibits, the Jefferson Campus showcases the work of students as they progress class by class through the Professional Photography Program.
Home to one of many digital labs in Santa Barbara, the Jefferson Campus labs are outfitted with computer workstations, film and flatbed scanners and ink-jet photo printers.
The studio space on campus is referred to as the cove. It is a real-world professional shooting environment with two separate shooting spaces, dressing/make-up rooms and kitchen facilities for food photography preparation.
The Institute's photographic library is a great resource for students in all programs and is particularly beneficial for the research conducted in the school's graduate program.
