Lloyd Sigler
President and creative director of SiglerGroup, Inc., a small firm specializing in graphic design through print, broadcast and new media. He has created successful projects for a wide range of clients and industries including large national and multi-national corporations as well as smaller regional companies.
His work includes print, direct mail and broadcast advertising, corporate identity/branding, collateral materials, sales and capabilities brochures as well as multimedia and web site development and design.
Working with hundreds of clients over the past 25 years, his work has received numerous local, regional and national awards.
He serves as the acting Program Director of the Graphic Design program at Brooks Institute where he teaches a variety of Graphic Design classes.
Megan Marble
For the past seven years Megan has been the Studio Manager for the Creative Services department at Patagonia, Inc.. Megan along with Hal Arneson, Creative Director, oversees a department of 38 talented graphic design, production, editorial and photographic personnel. This award winning group creates all advertising, catalogs, websites, POP and collateral for Patagonia worldwide. She has been with the company for fourteen years and prior to joining the Creative Services department held positions in marketing, advertising and public relations for several divisions of the company. Prior to Patagonia she worked in account management for the Foote, Cone and Belding - IMPACT; Mangino/Murray/Johns and Incentive Dimensions advertising and promotion firms in San Francisco, California. Collectively
she has 23 years advertising and marketing experience. She holds a BA in Psychology with a minor in Art History from Scripps College, Claremont, CA.
Fred Niles
Professor and Chair of the Department of Visual Arts at the University of Dayton where he previously taught in and directed the Graphic Design Design Program. His areas of specialization are Graphic Design and Photography. He also provides consulting and graphic design services for advertising, identity, marketing, and publishing. Fred holds a BS Degree in Art Education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, an MA in Fine Art from the University of Northern Colorado, and an MFA in Advertising Design from Syracuse University. His MFA thesis explored views on graphic design education. He served on the national board of the former Graphic Design Education Association and has also served on the boards of two professional design organizations as President of Art Center Dayton and Treasurer of the Cincinnati Chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Artists.
Don French
Owner of French and Associates, a graphic design firm founded in 1977. The company provides design services that include identity and branding, annual reports, corporate collateral, environmental design, and print advertising. Firm members have won awards from the Art Directors Club of New York, Communication Arts Magazine, and the Society of Publication Designers. Mr. French holds a BA Degree in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara and is pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing at Antioch University, Yellow Springs, Ohio. He currently teaches digital illustration classes at Brooks Institute, has taught design at Santa Barbara City College, and has lectured at University of California Extension.
Dave Carlson
David Carlson is CEO and Creative Director of Gateway Arts, a branding and design firm he founded in 1991. Gateway Arts has worked with a diverse group of clients- including Fortune 500 companies, technology companies, retail and sports manufacturers-and earned their trust by producing stellar results on time and on target. In addition, Dave takes his 25-year passion for action sports and applies his guru-level brand marketing skills to Degrees Inc, a youth brand marketing agency he co-founded in 2004.
