Brooks Institute’s Gallery 27

Brooks Institute’s Gallery 27 is an exquisite exhibition space with more than 300 linear feet of wall display surface, incorporated into Brooks Institute’s Cota Street campus.

Within its first years, Brooks Institute’s Gallery 27 has featured the work of world renowned photographers including Joyce Tenneson, Chris Rainier, Michael Thompson, and Rodney Smith. The gallery also hosts exhibits of work by students, faculty, and alumni.

Also at this location is Brooks Institute’s Gallery 27 store, a small retail store that offers imagery created by faculty, alumni, and students, as well as images and books selected from past exhibitors.

Brooks Institute’s Gallery 27 is open 7 days per week, 10 a.m.-9 p.m. The store is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-5 p.m. and during all gallery opening events. Brooks Institute’s Gallery 27 participates in the Santa Barbara Downtown Organization’s Art Walk, held on the first Thursday of each month, from 5-8 p.m. The current gallery schedule is:
